Henna and black tea
Soak 2 tablespoons of henna with equal quantity of black tea, overnight. Add 2 beaten eggs, a little bit of lemon juice, 4 tablespoons of curd and a teaspoon of olive oil to it in the morning. Mix well and apply mask to hair. Let it rest on your hair for 2 hours and wash off with cold water and a mild shampoo.
Banana and mayonnaise
Take 2 ripe bananas and mash them completely. Add a teaspoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise to it. Mix well, apply to hair and let it rest for 30 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water and a mild shampoo to remove the banana completely. Bananas soften the hair instantly and add life to dull and lifeless hair.
Potatoes are known for enhancing hair growth while also combating hair fall. Take a large potato, remove its skin and grate it. Now squeeze its juice in a bowl and add 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel to it. Stir well and apply on hair and scalp and massage for 10 to 15 minutes. Let the mask rest on your hair for 2 hours and then rinse off with cold water.
Hibiscus adds luster to your hair and also nourishes it. Soak a cup of red hibiscus petals in water overnight and make a paste out of it in the morning. Add some olive oil and stir well. Apply on hair and scalp and wash off after 30 minutes.
Egg-yolk and castor oil
This hair mask is quite rich in protein and makes your hair healthy and nourished from within. In a bowl, add the yolk of an egg and 1 tablespoon each of honey and castor oil. Stir well and apply from root to tips. Wear a shower cap to avoid spillage. Wash off your hair after 30 minutes with cool water and a mild shampoo. Use twice every week for 2 to 3 months.
Cream of Coconut
Take a tender and green coconut and scoop out all its cream. Warm a little and massage in the hair from root to tip. Wrap a hot towel around your hair and let it remain so for an hour. Wash off with a mild shampoo and air-dry the hair. This pack not only makes you hair healthy but also helps it get back its lost shine.
