This young woman has been inspiring girls for years now. Whether she is dropping her latest break-up anthem, walking a red carpet, or getting coffee, it seems to us that her makeup is always on point. Swift connected with her fans more than ever before when she sang out “darling, I’m a nightmare, dressed like a daydream,” in her chart-topping song Blank Space. Take just one look at the makeup she wears in the video and you will notice that her look is killer!
You too can get this look! Start by applying your foundation per usual, once you are ready, give your eyes the attention they deserve by creating a silver to black smoky eye. Take the look to Taylor’s level by applying fierce falsies and lots of mascara to both the top and bottom lashes. Now, the most important part is to apply a candy apple red lipstick.
Do you remember Lady Gaga’s 2013 hit G.U.Y? If you have not seen the music video, it is never too late to check it out on YouTube, but be prepared, you might find yourself in a Lady Gaga binge for the next few hours. While the majority of her looks are unique, to say the least, her makeup in the G.U.Y music video is still inspiring makeup looks today.
This look is not only sultry, but it is beyond easy to replicate at home! Just as with the first look, go ahead and apply your foundation as you usually do. With a steady hand and some quality eyeliner, line just the top lash line, the way you normally do for a cat eye, being sure to draw the liner out so that the end of your brow line and the end of your liner are parallel to each other. Looking straight into the mirror, draw a vertical line in the center of your lash line about half way up your eye. Now create a triangle by connecting the two lines filing them in with the liner.
It is no secret that this girl can create some of the best summer hits, remember Super Bass? It was the song that the nation was singing along to for the majority of 2011, or trying to at least! While we may not all be able to sing as fast as her, we are able to recreate the fierce look the she owns in the Super Bass music video.
The look is perfect for the spring season and can be done faster than you think! After applying your foundation, take a vibrant yellow eye shadow (crème may work best in this case) and apply it close to the upper lash line, being sure to bring the color all the way to the inner-most part of your eyelid. Then with a light pink pigment, line the entire bottom lash line. Before applying some long falsies, go ahead and apply black liner to the top lash line. Finish the look with some bubble gum colored lipstick!
