It is no secret that festival season is the unofficial start of bikini season. Whether or not you are ready, it is time to pull out your high-waisted cup, mid-drift bearing tee’s and glam bra tops; festival season is here, ladies.

You may be sitting in your home office, sporting your favorite yoga pants, and thinking to yourself there is no way that I am ready for the spring season to start. No worries, we have all been there a time or two… (or three) before. Which is why we are sharing with you some of the best-kept secrets; these same secrets are used by actors, singers and models just weeks before movie primers, award shows and photo-shoots. Follow these tips for a fit, festival ready body.

First, we will start with the more obvious, general health tips. Hey, we can all use a reminder now and again.

C’mon, we are talking about vitamins here! You should be sure that you are taking a multivitamin, manufactured by a reputable company, each and every day. Since this essential task is commonly forgotten, here are a few tricks you can try to help you remember your vitamin: (1) leave the bottle on your office desk; (2) put a pill case in your car’s cup holder; (3) make it a task on your to-do list.

Hydration is key for a healthy functioning, fit body. Make sure you are drinking about eight to ten glasses of water per day, as this will help your system flush out excess sodium and other toxins that may be contributing to unwanted belly bloat.

Moisturize
A major part of having a hot bod is having young looking skin. The majority of women are diligent with facial treatments and lotions, but tend to forget all about the rest of their bodies. Make sure your skin it looking its best exfoliating in the shower three times per week, and moisturizing your entire body every day.

With EDM gaining popularity, it makes total sense that gyms and health clubs are getting in on the craze.  EDM fitness classes are both hardcore and fun. You will scorch those extra winter pounds in a club vibe that gives you a boot-camp-like workout.

If you have not had a chance to try a hot yoga class yet, you absolutely need to! Not only will you activate and work all those hard to target muscles, you will also sweat out all the toxins in our body. A few hot yoga classes per week is one of the best ways to get you in shape. Just try not to go home and eat junk food right after, (although rewarding your hard work is encouraged) it kind of defeats the purpose!

Challenge Yourself
There is a reason that those “30-day fitness challenges” are all over social media, because they work! The basic premise of these challenge charts is that for one month you will take a few extra minutes per day and dedicate it to working out a targeted area. Each day you double the number of reps, so by the end of the month you have challenged your muscles to be stronger and look awesome!
