There’s something about drama queens on our favorite television shows that we just can’t get enough of. Whether it’s the fact that they’re living in a way we wish we were, or the fact that we all secretly like a little drama it’s entertaining to watch. We thought there was no better way to celebrate drama queens this week than to share some of our favorite television drama queens that grace our living rooms on the regular. So…that’s what we’re doing!
No list of drama queens is complete without the mention of Miss Queen B herself. She was the Queen of Manhattan in Gossip Girl for years, we all loved to hate her at first but quickly grew to love to love her. There’s something about a wealthy Upper East Side, strong willed girl we can’t not love. Especially when she’s sneaky enough to pull off some of her most dramatic stints, even if Blair wasn’t your favorite character in Gossip Girl you have to admit the show wouldn’t have been the same without her.
We went with a little reality TV drama queen with this one, and with the return of the Real Housewives of New Jersey coming soon it only made sense. Teresa has become known for flipping a table and her recent time in prison, it’s safe to say drama is synonymous with Teresa. Even if you haven’t watched RHONJ you likely know a little bit about the drama Teresa has brought to the show, speaking truly of her drama queen ways.
We’re going back a little with Rachel Green from Friends. Since Friends is another classic show, we all remember Rachel being the most dramatic on the show. She was the ultimate drama queen we all know, love, and even wanted her haircut. Only a real drama queen could create such a phenomenon around a haircut.
Sex and the City
It was hard to choose just one of the girls from Sex and the City that held up as the biggest drama queen, so we’re going with all four on this one. They all had their own moments of being drama queens, so it seemed appropriate. Almost everyone has seen at least one episode of Sex and the City, a show about four women living in New York City on their quest to find love – what’s not to love about that? Each of the girls had their own personality that every woman related to in a different way.
One of the longest running shows in recent years, Grey’s Anatomy is the modern day ER. Of course, they didn’t leave out drama from the show and Meredith Grey is typically in the mix of the drama. Naturally, we had to nominate the doctor for her dose of drama she brings to the show in a really great way.
Being a drama queen is definitely NOT a bad thing, some of us are just a little more dramatic than others.
