Bangs, bangs, bangs… there’s something about bangs that always manage to give a fun update to any hair style. If you’re like many women, you enjoy your classic hairstyle but would love an update to your style every once in a while. We’re a couple of months into 2017, and with the start of a new year comes the start of new trends and hairstyles. Isn’t it fun?! We’ve found some really great ways that bangs are being incorporated into classic hairstyles. If you’ve been looking for an update to your favorite go-to hairstyle, you’re going to want to keep on reading because this may be what you’ve been searching for.
Bangs with a Bob
It doesn’t just sound cool together; they make for a super fun and unique hairstyle. The bob has been pretty popular in the hair world for a little bit of time now. It’s edgy, updated, and classic all at the same time. The classic bob has always been a fun go-to hairstyle for so many women, but recently we’ve noticed that some ladies have incorporated bangs into this classic ‘do. And the result? Stunning! Adding a blunt, straight across bang to the classic bob is a great way to add a little twist to the style to give you a little bit of a change. Opting for a blunt bang here adds to the edginess and modern vibe that the hairstyle already has, but takes it up a notch.
Blunt Bangs and Long Layers
For a while now long hair with layers has been a go-to for ladies that really enjoy having their locks long. It’s a classic hairdo that looks great regardless of the year, and really maintains its appeal for women. For a while we’ve seen the longer layered locks hairstyle being worn with no bangs or just longer side swept styles. However, we’ve noticed recently that ladies have started to add some blunt bangs to the classic long layered hairstyle. It’s a fun way to add a unique, modern twist to the look. The blunt bang style adds a bit of edginess to the traditionally freely flowing hairstyle for a fun combination.
Thicker Side Swept Bangs with Long Hair
Long hair has always been a classic hairstyle, and will likely stay that way. There’s something about long hair that can be so gorgeous (short hair, too!). However, if you’ve been rocking the long locks for a while now you’ve probably been searching for some ways to switch things up a bit. As we mentioned above, the longer, small bit of side swept bangs have been pretty popular with ladies who have long hair. However, in addition to the blunt full bangs we’ve seen ladies rocking we’ve also noticed a shift in some of the side swept bang styles we’ve seen being added to the long haired ladies. Some ladies have started to incorporate a combination of blunt bangs with a side swept style. Essentially, the side swept bangs are thicker similar to the amount of hair the blunt bangs are but they’re being worn off to the side a bit for a unique look.
