Woman with half-bun in the street

Lazy girl…is that you? Truthfully, we all have those ‘lazy girl’ days. If you’re a self-proclaimed lazy girl odds are you want to spend as little time fussing with your hair as possible. As gorgeous as some hair styles are, they can take a lot of time to recreate and we know you’re just not into spending all that time on your locks. Even though you’re a lazy girl and want to be quick with your hair routine, you want to look great too. Sound like you? We’ve got you covered because we’re sharing some tips on how to make your lazy girl hair look hot. Intrigued? We thought you might be.

Messy Half Bun
Those days you want to wear your hair down but really don’t want to deal with spending time making it perfect? This hair style is perfect for you. To create the ideal messy half bun you can work with whatever hair texture is in your hair. This means you don’t have to worry about straightening or curling your hair if you don’t want to-work with what you have! In fact, the less perfect the better. Music to your ears? To complete the look simply pull back a small section of your hair in the half up manner and create a messy bun with that hair. Secure with a few bobby pins and you’re done! Ok, well you may want to add a spritz of hair spray but then you’re really done.

Curl Your Hair in No Time
Sometimes you may want some curls added to your hair, without all the hassle. Well, lazy girl, we’ve got you covered there too. Achieving a curly/wavy hair look doesn’t have to be difficult or time consuming, we promise. With your hair completely dry pull your hair back into a high ponytail. It doesn’t need to be super tight because it’s not going to stay in the ponytail. Once your hair is up, use your curling iron to curl small sections of hair in the ponytail. After you’ve curled all the hair, remove the ponytail and run your fingers through the curls to separate them. Finish with some hair spray and you’re done. You didn’t think curling your hair could be this lazy girl approved, did you?

The Easiest Updo
If you’re having one of those days you want to wear your hair up, without a lot of fuss the low bun is probably the easiest updo to create…ever. Working with whatever texture your hair is currently in, create a deep side part. Once the hair is parted simply pull your hair back into a low ponytail placement, pull it off to the side to create a chic element. After your hair is secured in the ponytail wrap the hair around into a bun style. Again, it doesn’t have to be perfect and it’s usually a lot more stylish when it isn’t perfect. Leave a few pieces of hair out framing your face for that undone feel.
